Rainbow Six North American League Preview

Rainbow Six North American League Preview

The 2021 Rainbow Six North American League inaugural season debuts on Wednesday, March 24th in Las Vegas, Nevada. During the past offseason, the North American League was formed when Ubisoft announced the merger of the Canadian and U.S. divisions. Nine teams will be playing in an offline environment at the Esports Arena in Las Vegas, NV, the North American League’s home. The entirety of the 2021 Season of the NAL will be played in an offline environment.

The merger of the U.S. and Canadian division of the Rainbow Six League came as a surprise to the league’s followers. The Canadian League was created to raise talent in our northern neighbor but only lasted one season. Issues were near and wide; before the competition, two teams pulled out of the eight-team league due to funding issues. The pandemic did not help either. Ubisoft, the creator of Rainbow Six Seige and many other famous titles, pulled the plug and merged the Canadian and U.S. divisions.
