Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 5

The Call of Duty franchise has some competition once again with the end of August approaches. With a few leaked gameplay footage, Battlefield 2042 is implementing a similar approach and feature to both Call of Duty Warzone and another competitor, Apex. How will Activision respond to this with Battlefield offering a 128-player match and expansive post-launch content support, as its main focus is the multiplayer market instead of a single-player campaign.

With the end of August approaching, we do not know the release dates or two of the biggest games of the year, Call of Duty Vanguard and Halo Infinite. The influx of streamers in the market and the newest patch for Warzone will be important to stay relevant.

What to expect from Warzone Season 5

The Call of Duty franchise has been the best-selling game for years but may have a lot of competition in 2021. The next warzone patch will be important to keep the business and interest of players rolling. Here are some things players can expect for Warzone season 5.

The new patch is a big update for the battle royal aspect. Activision and Raven added two perks to the game with Combat Scout and Tempered. The game will also add a few features to the map that could bring streamers and other players back into the fold.

Combat Scout will be Perk option three. This will allow players to highlight and automatically ping the enemy for a short period of time whenever you damage the opponent, and Tempered is the second perk that which slots in number will give players an Armor Plate boost of 75 instead of the traditional 50.

The noticeable change is Rebirth Island will feature Mini Royale Trios. On the other hand, quad gameplay will not be taking place for both Rebirth Island Resurgence and Verdansk Blood Money.

The Gulag has gone through changes once again. It will be based on the map Rush that was Rush from Black Ops II. The Red Doors found in the Verdansk map have made players speculate what’s next for the franchise. It may be implying the next theme and gameplay for the next Call of Duty that may revolve around World War II.

There are also new Operators joining the battlefield in season 5, which include Kitsune, Hudson, and Stryker. The Battle Pass for Season is also available for players to progress through to collect rewards.

Warzone Season 5 Weapons

The new season has something that every player can enjoy. The game will feature four new weapons, two of the weapons will be free, and the other two will require skill to attain. A new pistol will deal a lot of damage, while a classy club will be most effective for close combat skirmishes.

EM2 just requires the player to progress to tier to 15 for the Battle Pass. The Tec-9 is a free weapon that unlocks when one reaches Battle Pass Tier 31.

Cane is another free weapon, but there is some more information that is needed as there is no set blueprint. Marshal is the last weapon that also needs to be revealed soon.

Final Thoughts

Call of Duty has a lot of expectations that they must exceed as there are some competitors in the market as streaming has reached a whole new level. They will need to battle other franchises like Battle 2042 and next-gen versions of GTA 5, and potentially GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas remasters possibly entering the gaming market soon.
