Esports Betting

The year is 2021. If you think of something, you probably can do it and that holds for betting on Esports. If you aren’t already intrigued with watching streamers or top competitive video game players give a try at wagering on it.

Esports betting is very similar to normal sports betting with just different things to bet on specific to the game that is being played. If you were to bet on Madden it is basically like betting on an NFL game as there is a Moneyline offering, a spread, and an over/under. In a madden head-to-head matchup you might not want to bet on the actual team, you want to bet on which person behind the sticks will perform better.

When betting on games like League of Legends and Call of Duty, it is also similar to normal sports betting as you can bet on a specific Call of Duty Team. Esports wagering is not as large as sports betting but it is an industry that is soon to break out.

Pandemic’s Effect on Esports

Video games are one of the most popular hobbies out there. Lucky for gamers when the Covid-19 Pandemic shut down most of the world gamers were able to just fire up their PC or console and continue to do what they love.
